Who We Are

Solihull Tree Wardens are volunteers from different backgrounds who share an interest in trees, nature and the local environment.

Some members have professional knowledge of trees and woodland management, while others simply enjoy learning more about the trees and green spaces around them.

Our group works closely with local communities, organisations and Solihull Council to help care for trees and encourage greater awareness of their importance.

What We Do

  • Organise tree walks and talks
  • Support local tree planting projects
  • Encourage tree aftercare and watering
  • Assist with local woodland management
  • Promote awareness of significant and historic trees
  • Monitor tree welfare across Solihull
  • Support biodiversity and environmental initiatives

Why Trees Matter

Trees improve air quality, support wildlife, reduce flooding and help create healthier and more attractive places to live.

They also form an important part of Solihull’s local heritage and landscape, from historic woodland areas to individual trees that have become valued local landmarks.
